Michael Jordan divorced his wife
By Stephen Lars One of the most well-known couple in sports, Jordan and his wife, who met at a Chicago restaurant during his second season with the Bulls, and were married on September 2nd, 1989, in Las Vegas filed for divorce. The couple has three children: Jeffrey, 18, Marcus, 16, and Jasmine, 14. Juanita Jordan previously filed for divorce in January 2002 but withdrew her petition a month later.
Jordan and his wife, who have been described as mutual and harmonious, stated that they had not lived together since February and cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of the breakup. The judgment also mentions an agreement the couple reached on division of property, child support, parenting time and other issues.
