Breeder’s Cup Classic
By Cindy Ferguson
On November 4th at Churchill Downs everyone is preparing for this year’s Cup. So far, 121 horses have already entered to try a shot at becoming the Horse of the Year.
A lot of competition I would say. Bernardini is favored remembering that in June he won the Preakness. Keeping in mind that he wants to finish his successful career very plentiful and become one of the best horses in history I think this year’s competition has a lot of excitement awaiting us.
On the other hand, Lava Man, California’s favorite, will heat up the race with his abilities and strength.
A few more horses to look out for would be; Henny Hughes, Aragorn, Ouija Board, Hurricane Run and George Washington.
