A short review about the Denver Broncos’s game
By Jill Woods
The Invesco Mile High saw the Denver Broncos again scoring for another victory in the home opener against Kansas City Chiefs in a final score of 9-6 in overtime.
The football team performed a great game after lose against the Kansas City Chiefs 18-10 at St Louis in Week 1.
The star of the game was Jason Elam who placed a 39-yard kick during the overtime as mentioned before giving the team their first victory of the season. Considering the bad offensive performance they had, the Broncos finished the game with a happy ending.
The Broncos worked really hard after see they were 0-2 down, situation that made them look for a way out of the hole as the linebacker Al Wilson mentioned.
Actually after losing the opener the team seems really aware that they have to fight if they want to get beyond the second week.
However, the poor performance of the quarterback Jake Plummer has made the team lose a lot in the field, who only completed 16 of 30 passes for 173 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception, becoming the biggest worry for the team with a rating of 38.6.
Denver has all the hopes that Plummer will make it better during the season and they will finish a successfully season.
